This online short course aims to give you the opportunity to engage deeply with and reflect on your teaching practices, portfolio, and journey in the higher education (HE) field. It explores the focus areas of course and assessment design, professional communication, and the language and culture of the classroom. Over six weeks of online interactive learning, you’ll study various approaches to pedagogy, based on the most relevant research on how students learn in the HE context, which will broaden your range of teaching skills and help you create inclusive strategies for your unique context. At the end of the course, you’ll produce a written statement encapsulating your teaching philosophy as well as a portfolio that details your critical reflections on teaching and learning.
